IEEE Expert Now Releases New Course in SLAM
IEEE Expert Now is now offering a new course in Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM), taught by Henrik Christensen. Sponsored by the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society from the IEEE Robotics & Automation Annual Meeting, this course will provide a general overview of SLAM and the problems related to localization, mapping, and SLAM. Different methods for the representation of uncertainty will be introduced along with their ability to handle single and multi-mode uncertainty representations. Henrik Christensen is the KUKA Chair of Robotics and a Distinguished Professor at the College of Computing, Georgia Institute of Technology.
